Fees, Scholarships & Bursaries

Fees

Fees are due on or before the beginning of each term.

Fees are agreed by the Governors and are published in March of the year of entry. The exact level of the fees for Wetherby Arts will therefore be confirmed in March 2025.  Fees will be comparable with the fees for Wetherby Senior School which, for September 2023, will be £9,695 per term.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships will be available.  The average fee reduction for a scholarship, which is not means tested, will be 20%.  Scholarships may be supplemented by the addition of a means-tested bursary, so up to 100% fee remission will be available in total.

All scholarships are reviewed annually and their continuance is dependent upon satisfactory conduct, attitude, participation and progress.

Bursaries

Wetherby Arts School will offer financial assistance in the form of bursaries. These are available through the Gold Standard Charitable Trust. Bursaries are designed to widen access to the school by enabling children to come who could not otherwise do so, and to allow children to remain in the event of a change in family circumstances.

Bursaries are subject to a detailed means test. Parents should be aware that the Trust does not have the resources to support all applications and only a limited number of children will receive support in a given year.

Applicants for 11+ and 16+ and Occasional Places should indicate their intention to request a bursary when they submit their application.

Applicants for 13+ should apply after they have been awarded a place at the school.
